About

I am an ex-Sound Advice Installer with 23 years of Pro Audio, and Consumer Audio/ Video experience. I started out in Brainerd, MN. At age 15 I was working for a Music store / outdoor concert Sound and Lighting system company. There, I learned the basics of the business and soon my business partner and I had our own Sound and Lighting system. I traveled the Country for 7 years with bands playing drums as well as renting the system to bands. most notable, Quiet Riot, Jefferson Airplane, and Savatage. In 1997 we sold the system and I moved to Florida. I started working at Thoroughbred Music and soon became the Assistant Manager of the Pro Audio Department. Then after a brief stint at Fed Ex I decided to go to College at the International Academy of Design and Technology, where I stayed and taught Intro to Audio, Intermediate Audio, Advanced Audio Post Production, and DVD Authoring classes for 2 years. I also helped build, and worked at SM Audio Productions and RTH Audio, where I trained people at Clear Channel Radio and ABC WFTS ch 28, on Hard disc Recording Pro Tools Systems. I Mastered CD's for DK Records, including "Tales from the B Sides" from artists Biohazard. I also did the 5.1 Surround Sound mix for Burton Snow Boards 25th Anniversary DVD . I no longer wanted to work the late night hours musicians keep so I could spend more time with my family, and started installing Home Theater Systems at Sound Advice. I was a Crew Chief at Sound Advice for 5 years where I was able to use my audio knowledge for the greater good of all mankind.
